Parenting Apart

A Parenting Apart group is a one-off workshop for parents to find out how best to manage their separation or divorce. Parents will gain an understanding about the impact of separation on their family and learn what they can do to support their children.

The Parenting Apart groups are currently held at our centres in Glasgow and by our sister organisation in Hamilton. You will have the chance to chat to others who are experiencing similar situations. Groups are hosted by two trained family support specialists, so you can also speak to a professional about any parenting problems or issues about your relationship with your ex-partner following your split.

Hamilton groups are hosted by Relationships Scotland Family Mediation South Lanarkshire – call 01698 421 333 or email parentingapart@familysupport.org.uk for dates or to book a place.

Glasgow groups are hosted by Relationships Scotland Family Mediation West – call 0141 332 2731 or get in touch via our website for dates or to book a place.

You can find a full list of Parenting Apart FAQs on the Relationships Scotland Website.
